TOKYO GHOUL:re CALL to EXIST Announced for Western Release

Following on from the rumors a few weeks back that Bandai Namco Entertainment had licensed/trademarked a Tokyo Ghoul website for western use, and the Japanese reveal of a Tokyo Ghoul game being in developed in Japan; European publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have now confirmed that TOKYO GHOUL:re CALL to EXIST will be released onto the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC within Europe.
Featuring characters from across the franchise, including TOKYO GHOUL, TOKYO GHOUL √A and TOKYO GHOUL:re, players will fight for survival as either a ghoul or investigator in a third-person action-adventure styled combat game. As one would imagine Ghouls and investigator character types each possess their own unique abilities and weapons to master, including Kagune or Quinque type items; and as part of the game players can pick their sides and challenge friends to see who will reign supreme in gruesome battles to the death.
Additional details will be confirmed in the near future but Bandai Namco Entertainment have confirmed that TOKYO GHOUL:re CALL to EXIST will feature both online and offline gameplay modes.
TOKYO GHOUL:re CALL to EXIST is currently in development for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC; a teaser (announcement) trailer has also been released giving a glimpse to the gameplay. It’s worth noting that the Tokyo Ghoul franchise is available on DVD and Blu-Ray via Anime Limited within the UK.
