PQube Officially Cancels Western Release of Omega Labyrinth Z for PS4 & PS Vita

PQube Games have officially announced via social media that the western release of JPRG Dungeon-Crawler Omega Labyrinth Z has been cancelled for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
Originally PQube Games had announced that they would be bringing this dungeon-crawler to Europe and North America; however when age rating boards in Australia, Germany and even the United Kingdom refused to rate the game trouble started to appear. At first things seemed fine as the game did receive ratings in other PEGI region areas as well as the ESRB in North America; however it seems the ‘platform holder’ has opted to not allow the game for release on its on consoles in Europe and North America; as explained in this post on Twitter.
Please see below the statement on the situation of #OmegaLabyrinthZ in the West. It is with sadness that we announce that the game is cancelled on both platforms and all Western regions permanently. We will not comment further on this matter. Thank you for your support.
As a result of this announcement it means that Omega Labyrinth Z will not be released within Europe or North America and as the final decision lies with the “platform holder” – which in turn would mean Sony – it means that this game will not see an official release in this region of the world.
