Goku, Luffy and Naruto Join Forces in JUMP Force for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC Next Year

Announced as part of the Xbox E3 2018 Media Briefing Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced JUMP Force, a team-based 3D brawler featuring popular characters from the Shonen JUMP Publication and sequel of sorts to J-STARS Victory Vs that released onto the Playstation platforms back in 2015.

Announced for a 2019 release this team-based brawler will see characters from popular Shonen JUMP mangas, such as Dragon Ball Z, One Piece and Naruto Shippuden join forces to do battle amongst each other. Unlike past JUMP Crossover games JUMP Force will see the action blend into the real world; with real world locations – such as Times Square in New York – becoming battlefields in additions to locations from those featured within the manga, such as Planet Namek (Dragon Ball Z) and Hidden Leaf Village (Naruto).

It’s currently not known how many characters will be playable, or from how many different franchises will be included, but judging from the gameplay released this week we know that Goku & Frieza (Dragon Ball Z), Naurto & Sasuke (Naruto Shippuden) and Luffy & Zoro (One Piece) are playable characters. The Announcement trailer also suggests that Light & Ryuk (from Death Note) will also play a role within the game.
