MCM London Comic Con May 2018 Anime Announcement Summary

With the May 2018 MCM London Comic Con firmly behind us it is now time to sum-up what was announced during the course of the weekend, and while not much was announced – namely around six titles per distributor – we did see some surprising and noteworthy titles being confirmed.

Anime Limited:

• Mobile Suit Gundam 00 – Season 1 (Limited Edition Blu-Ray) [English & Japanese with English Subtitles]

Confirmations:

• Kiznavier [Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray with rigid artbox, booklet and digi-pack packaging (details on Anime Limited blog)]
• Lu Over the Wall [Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray & DVD Combo Pack release with rigid artbox, booklet and digi-pack packaging]
• Sound! Euphonium – Season 1 [Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release with rigid artbox, booklet and digi-pack packaging]

Majority, if not all, of the titles listed above were tentative scheduled for a release during this yea.r

A release window was not mentioned but we can expect further details to be revealed, or listed on Anime-On-Line, in the coming months.

Manga Entertainment:

Manga Entertainment were not present at the MCM London Comic Con, nor did they make any announcements during the weekend, however the UK Anime Distributor did reveal these titles earlier in the month:

• Digimon Adventure Tri – Part 5 ((Blu-ray, DVD)
• Food Wars – Season 2 (Blu-Ray & DVD)
• JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable (Live-Action-Film) (DVD)
• Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! The Movie: Rikka Version(Blu-ray, DVD)
• Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! The Movie: Take On Me (Blu-Ray, DVD)
• Pokemon Movie 14 – 16 Collection [Black & White Movie Saga] (DVD)

Majority, if not all, of these announced titles are expected to be released during this year; but each distributor will confirm release details via product listings in the near future.
