Unboxing: No Game No Life – The Complete Collection (Limited Edition Blu-Ray / DVD Combo Pack) [UK]

Back in February of 2016 MVM Entertainment released the eccentric ecchi comedy No Game No Life onto Blu-Ray and DVD as a Limited Edition Combo Pack, with a standard DVD and Blu-Ray edition released shortly after; but what could one expect from this release? Well we have already covered the series in our review but here is a belated look at the contents of the Limited Edition Blu-Ray and DVD Combo Pack of No Game No Life – The Complete Collection.

For starters what does this Limited Edition Blu-Ray and DVD Combo Pack of No Game No Life – The Complete Collection contain? Well it contains the complete series, which consists of twelve episodes in both English and Japanese audio, on both DVD and Blu-ray as well as the complete soundtrack and a selection of, rather provocative, art cards. The DVD, Blu-Ray and CD discs come packed in individual DVD sized casesthat slot into a chipboard artwork alongside the artcards; all of which some nice looking artwork. It’s a similar design to the Monthly Girls Nozaki-Kun and A Lull in the Sea Limited Edition sets and it works exceedingly well.

It’s not just the packaging and presentation of this set thats exceedingly good as the disc themselves also features some great look artwork. Unfortunately this artwork only looks good on the Blu-Ray and DVD discs, both of which are full coloured and presented in a similar manner to past MVM Releases. The CD discs meanwhile have a ‘white and silver’ effect, similar to FUNimation titles, and looks rather bland. Good; but not perfect.

The Limited Edition Blu-Ray and DVD Combo Pack of No Game No Life – The Complete Collection is available now, although may be hard to find due to its limited print run,, within the UK (you can check out our unboxing below) and the standard edition DVD and Blu-Ray releases are also available within the UK from various retailers.
