Anime Limited MCM London Comic Con Panel Announcements [Friday 25th May 2018]

The MCM London Comic Con for May 2018 has finally begun and while anime distributors Manga Entertainment UK and MVM Entertainment UK have opted to take a step-back from the panel announcements, the upcoming and ever-popular distributor Anime Limited took to the stage for the first time this weekend to announce some surprising new additions to the 2018 (and beyond) line-up.

This panel, of which took place today (Friday 25th May 2018), saw the UK distributor reveal that they had acquired the home video license to the following titles; with exact details and release formats to be confirmed in the near future.

2018:

• Amanchu – Season 1 (Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray) [Japanese with English Subtitles]
• Mobile Suit Gundam 00 – Season 1 (Limited Edition Blu-Ray) [English & Japanese with English Subtitles]
• Mobile Suit Gundam 00 – Season 2 (Limited Edition Blu-Ray) [English & Japanese with English Subtitles]
• Mobile Suit Gundam 00 – Awakening of the Trailblazer (Limited Edition Blu-Ray) [English & Japanese with English Subtitles]
• Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt: December Sky (Limited Edition Blu-Ray) [English & Japanese with English Subtitles]

TBC:

• Hayao Mizaki: Never-Ending-Man (TBC)
• Persona 5: The Animation (TBC)

In addition to these announcements Anime Limited went on to confirm some additional details during a Q&A session with those who attended the event.

• Kiznavier [Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray with rigid artbox, booklet and digi-pack packaging (details on Anime Limited blog)]
• Lu Over the Wall [Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray & DVD Combo Pack release with rigid artbox, booklet and digi-pack packaging]
• Mobile Suit Turn A Gundam [Still being worked on]
• Sound! Euphonium – Season 1 [Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release with rigid artbox, booklet and digi-pack packaging]

Anime Limited do have another panel during the weekend and the distributor promised that they will have more announcements to make. In the meantime we can expect to hear more about these releases when they are ready to be shared.
