Shouji Gatou to be Anime Guest of Honour at MCM London Comic Con May 2018

We have heard very little of ‘anime related’ guest announcements for this year May MCM London Comic Con event but today Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, have announced that Shouji Gatou, the author of the original Full Metal Panic! light novel series, will be attending the event on both Saturday 26th May 2018 and Sunday 27th May 2018.

About Shouji Gatou: A novelist/screenwriter born in Tokyo, Shouji Gatou’s major works include Full Metal Panic!, Amagi Brilliant Park, and Cop Craft.

He has adapted his own works into anime, and also written episodes of shows including Hyouka, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Lucky Star, Tower of Druaga: the Aegis of URUK, and ToD: the Sword of URUK.

An exact schedule has yet to be announced; but Anime Limtied have confirmed that a special panel will be hosted on both Saturday and Sunday in which Full Metal Panic! fans can watch the first episode of the new series, known as Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory, as well as engage with Shouji Gatou in a Q&A session directly after the episode.
