Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA To Release on Windows PC Next Week

It’s been three months since NIS America revealed that the Steam release of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA had been delayed Indefinitely and now the video-game-publisher have announced that it will be released next week.

Originally scheduled for a 30th January 2018 release, but then pushed back due to issues discovered within the game, NIS America have now announced that the game will be available to download on Steam and GOG.com from 16th April 2018 – which is a lot sooner than many users expected.

This Windows PC version of will feature all the original content from the PlayStation 4 version of the game, in addition to the updated translation text, with improved visuals and steam support. Those who purchase the game during its launch week will also receive access to a selection of DLC for FREE; with content including:

  • Adol’s Adventure Essentials DLC (including the “Silver Armor” and “Adventurer’s Clothes” costumes)
  • Digital Mini Art Book
  • Digital Soundtrack Sampler
  • Laxia’s “Eternian Scholar” Costume

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita with a Nintendo Switch version to be released later this year. This Windows PC version meanwhile will be available from the 16th April 2018.
