Those looking forward to Arc System Works cross-over fighting game BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, which features characters from popular franchises such as BlazBlue, Persona 4, UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH and RWBY, will be excited to learn that PQube Games will be publishing it within Europe.
PQube Games have previously distributed BlazBlue and UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH within Europe, as well as having some involvement with the original release of Persona 4: Arena, so it comes as no surprise that Arc System Works have teamed up with PQube Games to distribute this latest sprite based arcade fighter.
So what exactly is BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle? Well it is a 2v2 tag fighting game built upon the foundations of BlazBlue fighting games that sees popular characters from numerous franchises do battle with one another. Simple to play, difficult to master, much like Arc System Works recent Dragon Ball FighterZ, is what BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is expected to offer along with a compelling story mode that spans all the franchises.
Key Features:
- Assemble your dream team – Pick freely from characters from BLAZBLUE, UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH, PERSONA 4 ARENA, and RWBY
- Tactical tag team action – Swap your characters in real time mid-battle for new combos and strategies
- Simplified controls – High-level gameplay has never been more in reach with standardized input-friendly attack commands for ease-of-use
- Unique story episodes – Experience the story in Episode mode, with different episodes for BLAZBLUE, UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH, PERSONA 4 ARENA, and RWBY
- Take the fight worldwide – A new and improved online mode offers the best online multiplayer experience yet

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 and is currently scheduled to release within Europe later this year.
