Yakuza 6: The Song of Life Delayed Until April; Demo Expected Later This Month

SEGA have announced through the official Yakuza Twitter Profile that Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, the latest and potentially final instalment into the Yakuza franchise, has been delayed until the 17th April 2018.

Originally Yakuza 6 was scheduled to be released on the 20th March 2018 and during the past few weeks promotional campaigns have been running across Europe that have allowed members of the press to sample the game before its release. It’s unclear why the game is being pushed back by nearly a month BUT we do have some good news.

A playable demo of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will be available to download on the 27th February 2018 from the PlayStation Store. It’s not been mentioned what this demo will contain, but it will allow players to import progress made from the demo to the full game – which suggests that a sizable portion will be on offer.

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will be released on the PlayStation 4 on the 17th April 2018 while the playable demo will be available to download later this month.
