Attack on Titan: The Roar of Awakening To Receive Wider Cinematic Release Within the UK

Last week it was revealed that the Attack on Titan season 2 recap movie, known as Attack on Titan: The Roar of Awakening, would be shown at the Glasgow Film Festival during March. Well UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, have now confirmed that the film will receive a wider cinematic release across the UK.

The film, which will be shown in Japanese with English Subtitles, will be available from selected cinemas within the UK from the 21st February 2018, while the Glasgow Film Festival screening will take place on the 1st March 2018. The following cinemas are currently accepting pre-booking for the film.

Synopsis: Eren Jaeger’s battle against the Titans rages on! After fighting the Female Titan, he has no time to rest as a horde approaches Wall Rose. With his ferocious abilities and a new plan, Eren and his friends set out to face the Titans head-on. But as they prepare for war, they begin to unearth terrifying secrets. What are the Titans really, and where do they get their power? As they begin investigating the danger hidden within the walls, a colossal reveal shakes them to the core! Does humanity stand a chance at survival with no one to trust and a new evil on the horizon? Terror takes a new form. WHO’S REALLY on their side?

Attack on Titan: The Roar of Awakening will be available from selected UK cinemas from the 21st February 2018 in Japanese with English Subtitles. The Second Season of Attack on Titan meanwhile will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray from the 26th February 2018 within the UK.
