10tons latest Nintendo Switch release will come in the form of Baseball Riot, a puzzle themed baseball game which will see players challenged to take down all opponents on screen within as little baseballs as possible.
Of course this is not an anime title, nor does it have the visual novel elements of other 10tons releases, but it has a comic-book-styled-cartoon-vibe I just can not ignore and the previous PS Vita release was pretty fun to play in short bursts.
Baseball Riot is a sequel to the fan favourite Tennis in the Face.
Baseball Riot is a fun physics based puzzle game packed with slapstick comedy and mayhem! Take control of retired star batter Gabe Carpaccio as he goes on a crusade to free his former team from the grasp of Explodz Inc.
Smash baseballs at various Explodz fueled goons such as obnoxious fans, biased umpires, leery catchers and more.
Bounce the ball of walls and platforms to knock out many targets with one hit. Detonate Explodz crates to launch the baddies sky high! See the enemies tumble as hapless ragdolls and try to master each level by collecting three stars. Conquer more than 100 levels and save the day!
Key Features:
- Easy to learn physics based puzzle gameplay
- Funny knockouts with ragdoll characters
- More than 100 levels
- Explosive chain reactions and destructible items
- Three star score system and challenging achievements
Baseball Riot will be available to download from the Nintendo Switch eShop on the 19th January 2018 and will be priced at 4.99 USD/EUR.
