Dragon Ball FighterZ Public Launch Event, Open Beta Characters & PC Specifications Revealed

It has been a busy week for Bandai Namco Entertainment, as following on from the recent ‘Dragon Ball Super’ character trailers for Dragon Ball FighterZ and Open Beta details the publisher have now revealed further details for the Open Beta taking place next week, a special public launch event and PC Specifications for the game itself.To make this easier to read let us breakdown the news into sections.

Public Launch Event:

On the 26th January 2018, which is the games European release date, Bandai Namco Entertainment will be hosting a special launch event for the game within London. This event will not only allows attendees to experience Dragon Ball FighterZ in all of its glory but they will also be able to sample a selection of past Dragon Ball Z games.

A list of games available at the event have not been confirmed but Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 (PS2 / PS3 /X360) as well as Dragon Ball Z Super Butoden 2 (SNES / 3DS) will be playable at the event.

Those wishing to attend this event will have to register for a ticket on eventbrite; with limited slots available.

Open Beta Details:

As mentioned earlier this week the Open Beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ will take place between the 14th January 2018 and 16th January 2018 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC with pre-orders gaining access on the beta on the 13th January 2018.

New details released today reveal that the beta will allow fans to experience 11 characters, 7 stages and 3 different gameplay modes with ‘World Match’ being one of the available game modes.

The character list for the Open Beta in Dragon Ball FighterZ is as follows:

PC Specifications:

Finally; the PC specifications for PC version of Dragon Ball FighterZ have also been confirmed and are as follows:

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released on the 26th January 2018 within Europe and will be available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
