KOKKOKU & The Red Turtle Now Streaming on Amazon Prime UK

Amazon UK continues to expand the anime offerings available as the online-retailer-giant have now made Studio Ghibli’s The Red Turtle and Yoshimitsu Ohashi’s directed anime series KOKKOKU on Amazon Instant Video and available to stream at no additional cost for Amazon Prime members.
The Red Turtle, which was originally released on DVD and Blu-Ray late last night, is a recent Studio Ghibli title released by STUDIOCANAL while KOKKOKU is a brand new simulcast streaming anime with new episodes expected to be available on a weekly basis.
The Red Turtle: Through the story of a man shipwrecked on a tropical island inhabited by turtles, crabs and birds, The Red Turtle recounts the milestones in the life of a human being.
KOKKOKU: It’s 6:59 forever…The members of the Yukawa family inherit Statis spell, the power to stop time.The members of the Yukawa family are able to enter the Stasis, a world where everything has stopped, when they use their power.One day, Juri’s nephew and brother get kidnapped. In order to rescue them, Grandpa uses Statis spell, but they get suddenly attacked by other people who are still able to move.
In addition to these two new anime titles a selection of seasons from Pokemon: Diamond & Pearl have also been made available to stream on Amazon Instant Video as part of Prime subscriptions. Pokemon: Diamond & Pearl was previously available to stream but was replaced with Pokemon: Ruby & Sapphire, otheriwse known as Pokemon Advanced, Pokemon Advance Battle & Pokemon Advanced Challenge; but now both generations are available to stream.
All three titles join the ‘ever-expanding’ list of anime currently available to stream on Amazon Instant Video; including Your Name and The Boy and The Beast films.
