Tokyo Otaku Mode Launch Crowdfunding Campaign for Kud Wafter Anime Movie

Tokyo Otaku Mode, in partnership with Visual Arts, have launched an international crowdfunding campaign for a subtitled worldwide release of the Kud Wafter Anime Movie; a feature-length animted movie which follows the events of Kud Wafter, who is of course a popular character from the Little Busters franchise.

Little Busters was originally a visual novel, which has recently made it’s appearence on Steam, before spawning it’s own animated TV series by JC Staff. In 2010 a visual novel game based on Kud Wafter, one of the popular characters from the Little Busters, was released and now an animated movie is being produced. The movie itself was successfully kickstarted last month but now Visual Arts are opening up the movie, and most of the relevant bonus items, to international backers.

The goal of this ‘international’ edition of the crowdfunding campaign is to add English subtitles to the film as well as be able to offer the film to international auidiences.

Further details surrounding the campaign can be found on the official website; but if you are a fan of Little Busters or Kud Wafter in generla then it might be worth supporting the project in order to secure a copy of the film.
