Monster Hunter: World Release Date Announced Alongside New Gameplay Trailer

Capcom have announced that Monster Hunter: World, the latest entry into the action-adventure styled monster slaying RPG, will be released globally on the 26th January 2018 for the Xbox One and PS4 with a PC release to follow at a later date.

In addition to the release date news Capcom have also revealed details for the games ‘Digital Deluxe’ and Physical Collectors’ Editions of the game; each of which are listed below:

Digital Deluxe Edition:

  • Monster Hunter: World Game
  • Samurai Set
  • 3 Character Gestures
  • 2 Sticker Sets
  • Face Paint & Hair Style option for the Hunter
  • 14 Weapon themed avatars (PS4 Only)

Physical Collector’s Edition:

  • Monster Hunter: World Game
  • Digital Deluxe Edition content
  • Art Book
  • Soundtrack CD
  • Collector’s Box

Players who pre-order Monster Hunter: World will receive special pre-order bonuses; in this case the Origin Set Armor and the Fair Wind Charm talisman – both of which will offer enhanced attack and defensive abilities. Those who pre-order the game digitally from the PlayStation Store will also receive a special PS4 theme.

Monster Hunter: World will be available for the Xbox One and PS4 from the 26th January 2018 with a PC release to follow shortly after.
