New Dragon Ball FighterZ Details Revealed; Including a Collector’s Edition

Dragon Ball FighterZ is slowly shaping up to be one of, if not the, best Dragon Ball themed fighting game to date and with the arrival of Gamescom comes new information and a brand new gameplay trailer!

For starters the newly released Gameplay Trailer highlights previously announced playable fighters Piccolo & Krillin as well as introduces Android 16 and Android 18 (with Android 17 as Support) as playable fighters; each of which showcase their moveset and some of their trademark special attacks. Further into the gameplay trailer we learn that Dragon Ball FighterZ will feature its own ‘story mode’ and – judging from the trailer at least – it looks like a completely independent story from that of any previous game, manga or anime series. Naturally of course that wasnt the only new information shared; as the trailer – along with the announcement – revealed that a Collector’s Edition version of Dragon Ball FighterZ, of which will include a stunning Goku 18cm diorama with an exclusive “Manga Dimension” colouring and a steelbook case, will also be made alongside a pre-order bonus which sees Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta unlocked as early access characters.

Finally, the round-up the announcement, the beta registrations for Dragon Ball FighterZ’s closed beta test are now open with registrations available for the PS4 and Xbox One. The dates for the beta test are as follows:

The times are as follows:

1st Session- > 10:00am – 13:00pm (Saturday)
2nd Session -> 18:00pm – 21:00pm (Saturday)
3rd Session -> 2:00am – 5:00am (Sunday)
4th Session-> 21:00pm – 00:00am  (Sunday/Monday)

Dragon Ball FighterZ is scheduled to be released onto the PS4, Xbox One and PC during February 2018.
