Gundam Versus Open Beta Dates Announced

Bandai Namco Entertainment that announced that Gundam Versus, the team-based arena styled mocha fighting game inspired by the Gundam Extreme VS franchise, will receive a public open beta next month.

Specifically the open beta will be available from 2nd September, 2017 08:00 BST and will end on the 4th September, 2017 08:00 BST. Those wishing to take part in the open beta will be able to pre-load (i.e. download the beta) from the 29th August 2017; with the beta become usable on the 2nd September (as mentioned above).

Just like the Japanese trial, of which we played over on our YouTube channel, the open beta will allow fans to experience a large portion of the game – with the full game available from the 29th September 2017 for the PS4.

The following features will be available in the open beta:

  • Player Match (Online mode)
  • Casual Match (Online mode) – 1vs1, 2vs2, 3vs3
  • Ultimate Battle (Online / Offline mode) – 15 missions, 30 missions
  • Trial Battle (Offline mode) – 1 Route
  • Free Battle (Offline mode)
  • Tutorial
  • 5 in-game music from “Missing Rink” and “Crossbone”

Gundam Versus will be available exclusively for the PS4 from the 29th September 2017 within the UK and Europe as both a digital download and physical release.
