The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Viewing Revolution Released onto PS4 within Europe and America

In a rather ‘surprising’ announcement Bandai Namco Entertainment have today released a ‘PlayStation VR’ exclusive game based upon the popular Japanese videogame series The Idolm@ster onto the PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Networ Store.

Entitled The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Viewing Revolution, and available today for the PlayStation 4 as a digital download from the PlayStation Network Store within Europe and America, this PlayStation VR exclusive game is a Virtual Reality experience similar to Hatsune Miku VR: Future Live which puts players in the auidience as they view the characters performing different songs on stage at different angles.

Just like the aforementioned title players will be able to use their DUALSHOCK 4 Controller and/or PlayStation MOVE controller to move the glowstick and interact with prompts that appear on screen. It’s currently unknown how many songs this PlayStation VR experience has to offer but it will feature 3 new singles, including the new song 「Yes! Party Time!!」.

What’s surprising about this announcement is that The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Viewing Revolution is technically the first The Idolm@ster game released onto the PS4 within the west (if not the first The Idolm@ster ever released within the west) and yet it is a rather obscure title in the form of a PlayStation VR experience.

The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Viewing Revolution is now available for the PlayStation 4 from the PlayStation Network Store for £15.99 / $19.99 and requires a PlayStation VR headset and PlayStation Camera in order to be used.
