Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Western Release Date Announced for Nintendo Switch

Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced that the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, a game which originally released last year onto the Xbox One, PS4 and PC, will be released in both digital and retail formats on the 22nd September 2017.

This Nintendo Switch version will feature all of the gameplay elements from the previous XB1, PS4 and PC versions, such as a story that will see time patrollers restore the Dragon Ball timeline to its ordinary state with player created characters, in addition to Nintendo Switch exclusive features such as motion control option during the battles, local ad-hoc multiplayer up to 6, local battle with 2 Joy-Con and 1 system and the chance to play wherever you want.

It’s currently unclear if the Nintendo Switch version will include previously released DLC content, like Fate/EXTELLA and Disgaea 5 have done, but the demo playable at Japan Expo this month did include Black Goku which was previously only available as pre-order bonus DLC.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is now available for the PC, XB1 & PS4 with the Nintendo Switch version due out on the 22nd September 2017 within Europe.
