Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle Delayed Until October

If you looking forward to NIS America’s next videogame installment into the Touhou franchise then unfortunately that wait has gotten a little bit longer as publisher NIS America have today revealed that Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle has been pushed back to October of this year.

Originally Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle was announced for release during the first half of 2017 for the PS4 and PS Vita, however when the Nintendo Switch version of the game was announced for release NIS America opted to push the release date back a few months. However this release date has now been pushed back once again, this time until the 13th October 2017 within Europe (and 10th October 2017 within America) due to a delay in production and manufacturing of the game.

  • Return to the World of Touhou – Jump back into the world of Touhou and play as some of your favorite characters in a brand-new 3D square arena.
  • High-flying Combat – Outwit your opponent by taking your bullet-hell battles to the sky! Perform dashes, double-jumps, and mid-air dashes to avoid bullets and demoralize your opponent!
  • Climb the Rankings – Compete at home with friends, or online against everyone to climb the rankings and become the ultimate Touhou fighter!

In any event this delay means that Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle will now be released for the PS4, PS Vita and Nintendo Switch on the 13th October 2017 within the UK, Europe and Australia as well as 10th October 2017 within America.
