Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Story Demo Now Available for PS4 & Xbox One

One of the biggest surprises during Sony’s E3 Media Conference was news that a playable demo of Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite, which is the latest entry into the arcade fighting game that sees characters from both franchises fighting against each other, would be released onto the PS4 and this said demo is currently available to download for FREE from the PlayStation Store. This same demo has also been released onto the Xbox One; although it did appear on the PlayStation Store first.

The biggest surprise however is that this demo is actually a teaser for full games story; a story which will see the characters of both Marvel and Capcom franchises work alongside each other to stop an evil threat; namely the rise of Ultron.

Synopsis: This thrilling cinematic experience puts players at the center of a fierce battle as heroes from both universes come together to stop Ultron Sigma, the combined form of the robotic villains Ultron and Sigma, from infecting all biological life on the newly-merged Marvel and Capcom worlds. With the future of their universe hanging in the balance, the heroes must seek aid from the Mad Titan Thanos, the most powerful villain in the Marvel Universe… but can they trust him?

In addition to the demo Capcom went on to reveal that Dante, Zero, Spencer & Arthur from Capcom titles and Thanos, Gamora, Nova, Doctor Strange from Marvel’s universe will be playable in the full game; some of these characters are even playable in this demo.

Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite will feature free-form 2v2 team battles integrated into a wide variety of exciting and accessible single player modes and rich multiplayer content for new players and longtime fans alike. In addition to the compelling cinematic story experience, single player Arcade, Training and Mission modes plus vast multiplayer offerings will provide memorable experiences and infinite gameplay possibilities for players of all skill levels. The use of powerful, game-changing Infinity Stones further deepens the customized gameplay and allows players to equip and unleash elemental in-game powers, such as Reality, Time, Power and Space.

Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite will be available from the 17th September for the PS4, XB1 and PC
