Your Name to Receive IMAX Screenings in August

At the MCM London Comic Con Anime Limited announced that Your Name would receive ‘another’ limited time screening within the UK; except this time it would be in IMAX. Well today details surrounding this screening event have now been confirmed.

First of all Your Name will be available in selective cinemas from the 23rd August 2017 and will be shown in both standard cinemas as well as selective IMAX cinemas. The IMAX screenings will all be presented in Japanese with English subtitles whereas the standard screenings will be in both English Dub and Japanese with English Subtitles.

Synopsis: Mitsuha (Mone Kamishiraishi) and Taki (Ryunosuke Kamiki) have never met, but when the frustrated country girl wishes of a life in the big city, they will forge a connection both unexplainable and unforgettable.

In their dreams, the two swap lives, cultures and genders as they learn more about, and grow closer to, each other. What was once a shock becomes a joy-filled double life, but what will happen when they discover the red string of fate tying them together?

Tickets are not currently available to pre-book but we can expect the official website to update closer to the films release. Your Name will be available in selected cinemas, and IMAX cinemas, from the 23rd August 2017.
