DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT Announced for PS4 Release Next Year

Square Enix have announced that DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT, which is a port of the previously Japanese exclusive arcade fighting game, will be released onto the PS4 within Europe at some point next year.

As you can imagine release details, other than those already known about the Japanese release, are scarse but it will be beveloped in partnership with veteran fighting game studio, Team NINJA from KOEI TECMO GAMES, and the game will see various legendary heroes and villains from the FINAL FANTASY franchise pitted against each other in team based battles.

As explained by Square Enix DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT will offer Offer strategic online and offline play, whereby players can select from over 20 legendary characters and familiar summons, including Ifrit, Shiva and Odin, to bring into 3 vs. 3 battle. The game also brings back the DISSIDIA series’ unique “bravery combat system,” alongside unparalleled visuals and seamless gameplay.

Although DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT won’t be released until 2018 we can expect to hear more details throughout the year, and maybe even more gameplay details at this months E3 event. Either way DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT will be released onto the PS4 next year.
