Although MVM Entertainment did attend the May 2017 MCM London Comic, as they had a stand all weekend with a wide-selection of titles available for purchase, the UK distributor did not host a panel and instead opted to announce their new anime licenses through the power of social media with new titles being announced on a daily basis.
In total ten new titles were confirmed for release; and although specific details – such as format and pricing – were not mentioned we can expect to hear more details in the coming weeks when listing appear online. For the time being at least here is everything that was announced for release at some point within the UK.
Day 1:
- Armed Girls
- Flip Flappers
- Girlish Number
Day 2:
- Granblue Fantasy
- Grimoire of Zero
- Inital D Movies 1 – 3
- Matoi the Sacred Slayer
Day 3:
- Fate/Grand Order: First Order
- Girls Und Panzer: Der Film + OVA
- Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? – Sword Artoria (i.e. Season 2)
- Fruit Basket (BLU-RAY!)
Once again MVM Entertainment manges to license a wide-variety of anime titles, ranging from newer titles such as Fate/Grand Order to older titles such as Inital D. Of course the most welcome announcement would be the release of Girls Und Panzer film and the surprise announcement of Fruit Basket, which is currently available on DVD, being re-released as a Blu-ray set.
As it stands specific release details for each title have yet to be confirmed; but we can expect further details once pre-order lisitngs become available through Anime-On-Line.
