Earlier in the week details emerged through Japanese Magazine V-JUMP that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 would be released onto the Nintendo Switch later this year within Japan; however Bandai Namco America have now announced that the game will also be released within America at the same time.
Although release details for Japan and America have been announced the European division have yet to confirm their release window details for the game; but Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be getting a worldwide release at some point.
Exact details on what Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will offer have yet to be announced; but according to the tweet (seen above) it will feature Ad-Hoc (local offline) Multiplayer, Motion Controls with the two Joy-Con controllers and Two Player support on one Switch device with one Joy-Con per user. In terms of gameplay content this Switch version will feature everything that the previous PC, PS4 and XB1 release will have and for a ‘limited time’ its expected that content from Dragon Ball Xenoverse will also be made available within the game.
In addition to the Switch version details have also emerged in V-JUMP that the fourth DLC Pack for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will add Zamatsu and Black Goku Rose as playable characters within the game alongside stage content featured within the Black Goku arc of the anime and manga.
We can expect to hear more details surrounding the European Nintendo Switch Release of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and the Dragon Ball Super DLC for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 shortly; but in the meantime the game is available in both digital and physical forms for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
