Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle Announced for the Nintendo Switch; PS4 & PS Vita Release Delayed

Last month NIS America announced that they would be releasing Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle on to the PS4 and PS Vita at some point during June within Europe and America; well today the western-based-publisher have now announced that the game will also be released onto the Nintendo Switch.

Although this is ‘exciting’ news it unfortunately comes with a bit of a disappointment; as due to the game also being released on to the Nintendo Switch the release of the PS4 and PS Vita versions are being pushed back so that all three platforms can be released at the same time.

Originally Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle was going to be released on the 30th June 2017 (within Europe) for the PS4 and PS Vita; but now the game will be released on the 8th September 2017 within Europe (with America to receive it on the 5th September) across all three platforms.

Key Features:

  • Return to the World of Touhou – Jump back into the world of Touhou and play as some of your favorite characters in a brand-new 3D square arena.
  • High-flying Combat – Outwit your opponent by taking your bullet-hell battles to the sky! Perform dashes, double-jumps, and mid-air dashes to avoid bullets and demoralize your opponent!
  • Climb the Rankings – Compete at home with friends, or online against everyone to climb the rankings and become the ultimate Touhou fighter!
