One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition Announced for Switch, PS4 & PC Release This September

In a rather surprising announcement Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced that One Piece: Unlimited World Red, which is an action adventure styled game, will be released on to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC later this year as a Deluxe Edition.
One Piece: Unlimited World Red was originally released onto the PS3, PS Vita, Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS three years ago; however this ‘Deluxe Edition’ will feature all previously released DLC Content and upgraded 1080p visuals as well as 4K Support for compatible devices such as PS4 Pro and PC setups.
The Nintendo Switch version meanwhile will offer 1080p visuals in dock mode with 720p resolutions supported in tablet mode; additionally two players can play on one system using the console joy-cons or pro controllers.
Synopsis: Re-discover the original adventure of Luffy and his pirate crew that encounter and befriends a cheerful yet mysterious raccoon named Pato– who possesses a shadowy power to create anything drawn onto a leaf. To help their newfound friend, Pato leads the crew to the Forgotten Island where they get kidnapped by a wicked pirate named The Red Count and Luffy must fight to recover his crew from the enemy’s grasp and find out exactly what The Red Count’s evil plots are…
One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition is currently scheduled to be released during September 2017 with an official release date to be confirmed in due time. The game will also be released in Japan (assuringly in Japanese only) during August 2017.
