Anime Limited, via FUNimation and Japanese partners SUNRISE, have now made the iconic anime series Cowboy Bebop available to purchase through digital platforms such as iTunes, Microsoft Store and Amazon Instant Video.
The series can be purchased either as ‘complete series collection’ in which fans will receive access to all twenty-six episodes of the series or as individual episodes. Additionally Cowboy Bebop can be purchased in either Standard or High Definition with different pricing available depending on which formats (or options) are chosen.
For example each episode can be purchased for £1.89 (in Standard Definition) or £2.49 (in High Definition); alternatively the entire series can be purchased for £21.99 (in Standard Definition) or £24.99 (in High Definition). Of course; Cowboy Bebop is available on both DVD and Blu-ray as a complete series collection for around the same price. It’s expected that this digital release is presented in English only (but this has not yet been confirmed).
Going ‘Digital’ is not always the news people like to see; but it is interesting to see Anime Limited going through the digital marketplaces and offering the series through these services. In any event; those wishing to own Cowboy Bebop digital can now do so.
