Seven Seas Entertainment Announces New License Acquisitions

It has been a busy week for Manga and Light Novel publishers as following on from the news that YenPress have licensed several new titles the competing publisher, Seven Seas Entertainment, have now unveiled their selection of recent license acquistions – including a few surprise additions in the form of To Love Ru.

To start with Seven Seas Entertainment have announced they will be releasing the manga series Yokai Girls,  To Love Ru and it’s sequel To Love Ru Darkness as well as the light novel Monster Girl Doctor later this year.

To Love Ru: Rito Yūki is your average high school student–awkward, shy, and hopeless when it comes to confessing his feelings to the girl of his dreams. But one day, an alien princess on the run suddenly appears in his bathtub! When Rito finds himself engaged to the beautiful Lala after a misunderstanding, he becomes embroiled in the chaos of extraterrestrial politics, rival alien suitors, and harem hilarity!

The first Omnibus volume of To Love Ru will be released in both print and digital forms from the 24th October 2017 within America; it is expected that a UK release will appear shortly after.

To Love Ru Darkness: The story continues in To Love Ru Darkness, when Lala’s younger sister Momo begins her own machinations to marry Rito…but it can only happen if he is coronated as king of their interstellar empire, which would allow him to marry as many women as he wants!

The first volume of To Love Ru Darkness will be released in both print and digital forms from the 31st October 2017 within America; it is expected that a UK release will appear shortly after.

Yokai Girls: Nishizuru Yakki has always considered himself a fairly normal guy–he’s graduated from school, works a part-time job, and has never had a girlfriend. Yet he does have one unusual ability: he can see yokai spirits! He usually copes with these ghostly visions by ignoring them…until he meets a mysterious young woman named Rokka. Now his normal days have taken a notably abnormal turn, as Yakki finds himself the sole defender of some sexy supernatural yokai!

The first volume of Yokai Girls is expected to be released on the 7th November 2017 in both digital and print forms within America; a UK release is expected shortly after.

Monster Girl Doctor: In the town of Lindworm where monsters and humans coexist, Dr. Glenn runs an exemplary medical clinic for monster girls with his lamia assistant, Sapphee. Whether receiving a marriage proposal by a centaur injured in battle, palpating the injury of a mermaid, or suturing the delicate wounds of a flesh golem, Dr. Glenn performs his job with grace and confidence. But when an unsavory character seeks to steal a harpy egg, how will the unflappable Dr. Glenn respond…?

The first volume of Monster Girl Doctor is expected to be released on the 19th December 2017 in both digital and print forms within America; a UK release is expected shortly after.
