Anime Limited Confirms Prison School Collector’s Edition Blu-ray Release Details

Back in October 2015 Anime Limited announced that they would be releasing Prison School onto Blu-ray and DVD; and now after nearly two years of silence the UK Anime Distributor ‘Anime Limited’ have lifted the lid on what you can expect from this particular release via an updated product listing on their web-store.

For starters Anime Limited will be released Prison School as a Collector’s Edition Blu-ray, with a standard DVD and Blu-ray planned for release in the near future, and with this Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release fans will find all twelve episodes of the series (in both English and Japanese with English Subtitles) and an art book packaged inside a digipack sleeve that slides in a chipboard art box.

It’s the standard ‘Collectors Edition’ release formula that one might expect from Anime Limited; and you can see an example of this set in the beauty shot below:

The booklet included with this Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release is 44-pages and is expected to feature artwork and information about the show. In terms of on disc content then fans can expect to receive Episode Commentaries for episode 1 & 11, Episode 12 Video Commentary, Textless Opening & Ending songs as well as Commercials. This is in addition to the twelve episodes and English and Japanese audio languages.

This Collector’s Edition release of Prison School is expected to be released on the 29th May 2017 and is currently available to pre-order from various online retailers.
