Introducing Sakamoto, Souma, and Iba; Three New Characters within Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds

Last month Idea Factory International introduced us to three new love interests in the otome styled visual novel Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds, and today the publisher have revealed another three characters making their debut within the game.

  • Ryouma Sakamoto: A gunslinging, smooth-talking samurai who offers to help you find your father. Sakamoto hides behind pseudonyms and his charming smile. Can you trust this handsome stranger you’ve just met?
  • Kazue Souma: A young samurai who doesn’t think highly of the Shinsengumi. Souma is a serious, headstrong person. Kondou invites him to join the Shinsengumi as your first student – can you teach him well?
  • Hachiro Iba: A samurai from the Okuzume, the guards who protect the shogun. Iba is the Shinsengumi’s old friend from Edo, but for some reason he claims to know you…
Each character will play an important role within the game; as players will be able to progress through their ‘character route’ in order to explore more about their personalities and desires.
Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds will be available for the PS Vita within the UK and Europe on the 19th May 2017
