NISA America To Release Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle This June on to PS4 & PS Vita

Publisher NIS America have announced that they will be releasing Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle on to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita this June within the UK and Europe while America will receive it a few days later (but in July).

Specifically Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle will be available to purchase in both physical and digital form on the PlayStation 4 while the PlayStation Vita version will be released digitally. Both formats will be released on the 30th June 2017 within the UK & Europe and 4th July 2017 within America.

Unlike past games Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle is a 3D bullet-hell battle game that takes place in the Touhou universe; whereby players will be able to take control of one of nine Touhou characters in an attempt to eliminate various enemy characters by using magic spells, cards and much more.

  • Return to the World of Touhou – Jump back into the world of Touhou and play as some of your favorite characters in a brand-new 3D square arena.
  • High-flying Combat – Outwit your opponent by taking your bullet-hell battles to the sky! Perform dashes, double-jumps, and mid-air dashes to avoid bullets and demoralize your opponent!
  • Climb the Rankings – Compete at home with friends, or online against everyone to climb the rankings and become the ultimate Touhou fighter!

Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle will be available from the 30th June 2017 within the UK & Europe for the PS4 (digital and physical) and PS Vita (digital). The game will also be released in America on the 4th July 2017 for the same platforms.
