Warriors of the Sky Expansion Announced for Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization

Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced that the virtual-MMORPG Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization will receive a free ‘expansion’ known as Warriors of the Sky.

This free update will add a brand new environment, various quests, a new dungeon to explore and two characters from Sword Art Online: Lost Song; namely Seven and Rain both of which were key-players in the previous PS4 and PS Vita game. This update will also introduce the Duel System, which will see two characters battle against each other, and a Player Vs Everyone system whereby the player can battle multiple opponents at once.

In addition to this free update two pieces of DLC content, known as Lord of Inferno and Missing Chest, will also be made available for free. In Lord of Inferno, players will be be able to challenge a strong raid boss in Salvatos Ruins, after completing Warriors of the Sky. In Missing Chest , the Missing Treasure Chest will appear in Teleport Plaza and you will be able to exchange Gold Pieces for items.

A release date for the expansion has not yet been announced; but for SAO fans such as ourselves it’s an update we will be looking forward to. Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization is now available for the PS4 and PS Vita.
