Anime Limited have announced that Kyoto Animation’s feature-length-film A Silent Voice will be shown in selective UK cinemas on the 15th March 2017 with additional screenings taking place on the 17th March 2017.

Directed by Naoko Yamada and written by Reiko Yoshida A Silent Voice is an adapatation of the manga from the same name which sees a high-school-student Shōya Ishida attempt to make amends to Shōko Nishimiya a girl he previously bullied at school due to her hearing impairment. Without giving too much away it’s an emotional film that highlights some of the difficulties that victims of bullying and bullies can go through during the school years; but it also offers so much more than that.

We previously saw the film at a private screening earlier this month and noted that it was an ‘Emotional Rollercoaster’ and an ‘absolutely superb’ animated feature and now Anime Limited are allowing anime fans to experience it for themselves on the big screen.

Tickets are available to pre-book on the special website, of which also lists all current locations of which the film is being shown in. In addition to this Anime Limited have also released their own dedicated trailer for the film.
