Dragon Ball Fusions Receives Tutorial Styled Gameplay Videos

Dragon Ball Fusions is the latest video-game chapter into the Dragon Ball franchise and unlike last years Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, which allowed players to re-experience the Dragon Ball Z timeline from a alternate perspective in fighting form, Dragon Ball Fusions sees RPG turn-based combat that allows all characters to be fused together for an ultimate fighter.

Compared to past Dragon Ball games this ‘Fusion’ entry into the franchise is completely different; which is probably why the game was quite popular in Japan during it’s inital launch, and because of this ‘difference’ Bandai Namco Entertainment have released a selection of gameplay videos which give fans an idea of what to expect from the game, it’s combat mechanics and its visual style.

Avatar Customisation:

In Dragon Ball Fusions players can customise their avatars appearence with a variety of Dragon Ball themed oufits.

First, the Attack Triangle – Speed beats Power, Power beats Technique and Technique beats Speed – will help you to choose how best to strike your target with different Standard, Ki and Special Attacks. Then the Timeline, at the bottom of the screen; this shows you the next character who will get to perform an action. Pay close attention to this feature! If this character takes damage, they will move slightly left, back along the line, and another character may take their place. It’s then time to pull out all the stops with team combos and chain reactions. But attacks alone won’t win the fight, you also have to defend yourself! Guess where your enemies will strike to block them and reduce the incoming damage.

Dragon Ball Fusions will be released on the 17th February 2017 within the UK, Europe and Australia for the Nintendo 3DS and, more importantly, will be available as both a retail cartridge and a digital download.
