PQube Unveil’s Limited Edition Bundles for Akiba’s Beat


After months of silence PQube have finally spoken up about their upcoming release of Akiba’s Beat, the spiritual-sequel to Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed, and this time the publisher-come-distributor have announced the GAME Exclusive and Rice Digital Exclusive Limited Editions bundles for the PS4 and PS Vita; both of which are expected to be released later this year.

For starters the GAME Exclusive Limited Edition of Akiba’s Beat will contain a copy of the game bundled with an artbook; a similar presentation to the previous Steins;Gate 0, Root Letter and BlazBlue: ChronoPhantasma Extend Limited Edition sets. Once again this ‘Limited Edition’ will be exclusive to GAME within the UK and be offered on both PS4 and PS Vita.


On the other hand we then have the Rice Digital Exclusive Limited Edition of Akiba’s Beat which, unlike past ‘Rice Digital Exclusives’ feature some rather unique content. In this case fans will find a copy of the game, on a platform of their choice, along with the artbook, a school-bag, a soundtrack CD and a plush toy of pipkun from the game.


The Rice Digital Exclusive Bundle is currently available to pre-order from the Rice Digital Store; meanwhile pre-orders for the GAME Exclusive bundle are expected to go live in the coming weeks. Akiba’s Beat on the other hand will be released onto the PS4 and PS Vita in both digital and retail forms later this year with further details to be confirmed in due course.
