It’s been a piece of information we have known since the MCM London Comic Con, as the set was being sold on Anime Limited’s booth throughout the weekend; however a new update on the Anime Limited blog confirms that their Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release will include the two feature-length-movies which bring the franchise to its conclusion.
Looking ahead to the 30th of January, our Ltd Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release of Eden of the East will be available to add to your collection! This release will include the two movies, Paradise Lost and The King of Eden as well as the TV series!
This means that the UK Collector’s Edition release of Anime Limited falls-in-line with the American Limited Edition set; in which the set contained the original 11-episode-series along with the two movies (Paradise Lost and The King of Eden) in a single package with collectable content.
As mentioned this is a piece of information we have known for awhile, as early stock at the MCM London Comic Con stated that their was space for two movies in the box. However it’s only recently that Anime Limited have confirmed the set will contain the movies. Previously the set was announced as a TV-Series release only.
Those who purchased the set from the MCM London Comic Con during October 2017 will have to get in touch with Anime Limited and demonstrate they have the set without the movies and – in turn – anime limited will send out the missing discs. In the meantime the Eden of the East Collector’s Edition is expected to be released on the 30th January 2017.
In unrelated news Anime Limited have confirmed that Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam – Part 1, along with Aldnoah Zero – Season 2, will be available on the 16th January 2017.
