Aksys Games to Release Period: Cube -Shackles of Amadeus- onto PS Vita within Europe

American videogame publisher Aksys Games have announced that they will be releasing the visual-novel styled JPRG title Period: Cube -Shackles of Amadeus- onto the PS Vita within Europe, and America, later next year.

It’s currently unclear if Period: Cube -Shackles of Amadeus- will be released as a physical release within Europe; but it is coming to the PS Vita early next year and judging from the symopsis (shown below) it is going to be interesting title for fans of the system and JPRG games.

Synopsis: In search of your older brother’s whereabouts, you join the online RPG, ‘Arcadia’ in hope of discovering clues. Having lost consciousness after being drawn into a mysterious light, you wake up within the game’s fantasy world! Confused and shaken by your strange yet familiar surroundings, you learn that the only way to escape this world of life-or-death is to clear the game. As the game world begins to crumble and fall apart, you’ll have to rely on your expanding powers for survival!
