With Universal Pictures UK releasing the second instalment of Seraph of the End, otherwise known as Seraph of the End: Battle of Nagoya, as a Collector’s Edition Blu-ray and Collector’s Edition DVD release on the 5th December 2016 we have been sent samples of what of the said Collector’s Edition content and today we will give you a quick look on what to expect from them.
For those unaware Universal Pictures UK’s Collector’s Edition release of Seraph of the End – Season 1 Part 2 will come packaged in a chipboard artbox with the discs housed inside a digipack sleeve with artwork across both types of packaging. In addition to this owners will also receive a 36-page booklet featuring artwork and character bio’s from this half of the series as well as a selection of character trading cards, character art cards, a selection of lenticular stickers and a poster featuring the main artwork for Seraph of the End: Battle of Nagoya. An example of this content can be seen in the packshot below.
By now we all know the content to receive; but what exactly is it like to look at? Well judging from the samples we received (excluding the artbox and artbook) they look superb and you can see our thoughts on these items in our in-depth video on the collector’s content. It’s a shame we did not get access to the artbook or artbox; but we can not have all of it spoiled can we. It’s also worth noting that those pre-ordering from selective retailers (such as United Publications or Anime-On-Line) will also receive a special Ferid Art-card; which we also demonstrate in our video.
Seraph of the End – Season 1 Part 2 will be available on Blu-ray and DVD in Collector’s Edition form on the 5th December 2016 within the UK.
