Outlaw Star Blu-ray Release Date Moved Forward

In a rather surprising, if not comical, turn of events Anime Limited will now release the Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release of Outlaw Star several weeks earlier than originally expected; in this case the 14th November 2016, as explained in the latest podcast.

The reason for this ‘positive’ release date change is because online retailer Zavvi received stock early from their supplier and as a result incorrectly started shipping the products out early. To make it fair to everyone Anime Limited decided that they will allow other retailers to follow suite; and as such the Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release of Outlaw Star will now ‘officially’ be available from the 14th November 2016.

It’s worth noting that Anime Limited did have stock of the Outlaw Star Collector’s Edition Blu-ray at the MCM London Comic Con (amongst other titles); so it’s not entirely an unexpected quick-rush to release but more of a mistake being made from someone else corrected. In any event if you did order Outlaw Star online then you will receive it sometime next week.
