Anime Limited Gives Attendees Four Reasons to Visit Their Booth at MCM London Comic Con

With the October 2016 MCM London Comic Con just over a week away UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime; have finally spoken up about their plans for the weekend long event and, as you would expect, it comes with a few surprises.

As mentioned in a recent newswire post Anime Limited have provided “four reasons” to attend their booth, and other elements of the event, at this October’s MCM London Comic Con; some of which prove to be more interesting than others. So what exactly can you expect? Well check out the list below!

  • Crunchyroll x Anime Limited Partnership: Anime Limited have officially announced a partnership with online subscription based streaming service Crunchyroll which as a result means that attendees will be able to watch a variety of simulcast streams (and back-catalogue titles) in the viewing area. This partnership will also see titles currently being streamed on the service released on home video in the near future by Anime Limited. In addition to this those who show that they have a Premium Crunchyroll membership can receive exclusive items from staff at the booth; such as a RE;Zero Bag or anime themed coaster.
  • Two Anime Guests of Honour: Anime Limited have teamed up with the MCM event organisers to bring two different anime-related guests to the event; namely Naoyoshi Shiotani (the director of the Psycho-Pass Movie) and Takeshi Honda (the animation director for Evangelion). Both guests will have signing events (on both saturday and sunday – with times to be confirmed) as well as panel events with Naoyoshi Shiotani hosting a panel on Saturday at 2pm (Silver Stage) and Takeshi Honda hosting a panel on Sunday at 12pm (Silver Stage). Further event details for these two guests will be detailed in the event magazine.
  • Anime License Announcements: As per usual Anime Limited will make numerous announcements throughout the weekend; unfortunately they will be doing it on the “Announcement Wall” situated at their booth. It’s a great way of grabbing attention to their booth; but a tedious task for those such as ourselves – but its all part of the fun. Anime Limited will also be hosting panels on both Friday (Silver Stage at 3:30pm) and on Sunday (Platinum Stage at 1:30pm) whereby these announcements will be discussed in more detail.
  • Anime Limited Shop: Anime Limited’s own shop returns and as per usual fans can find all of their favourite Anime Limited (and FUNimation UK) products available for purchase but more interestingly is confirmation that a selection of titles, such as Escaflowne, Lucky Star, Outlaw Star and even Gundam Reconguista in G, will be available to purchase at the booth before their official launch later this year.

Interestingly enough this is just a ‘snapshot’ of what one can expect from Anime Limited’s booth as this months MCM London Comic Con; as in addition a special ‘Psycho-Pass’ themed photo area will be made available whereby fans can take a picture of themselves with members of the show.

The MCM London Comic Con takes place between the 28th and 30th October 2016 with tickets quickly selling out. Full details on the event can be found on the official website.
