In a relatively silent announcement release Aksys Games have today released the JPRG game Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky as a digital download onto the PS4 and PS Vita within Europe.
Published and distributed by Aksys Games, the same studio who releases BlazBlue games in America, and developed by Tri-Ace and Spike Chunsoft, Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky is an expansive RPG that will see players in control of numerous characters as they venture on a quest through 2D dungeons and do battle with monsters in full 3D environments in a turn-based-combat style. Put simply it’s an interesting JRPG adventure albeit with a slight twist; and with over 50 hours worth of gameplay (and dual-audio) promised it’s a game that will keep you occupied for awhile; or so the announcement states at least.
Unfortunately Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky is only available as a digital download within Europe; however Aksys Games is currently offering a 20% launch discount for Playstation Plus subscribers for a limited time only. This offer applies to both the PS4 and PS Vita versions of the game.
Key Features:
- Strategize and Execute: Each character attack corresponds to a button that unleashes massive devastation. Maximize the punishment you dish out to enemies by building powerful combos!
- Chemistry is Key: Mixing and combining attacks will affect your party chemistry. Trigger special events and attack combos by balancing your Friendship, Affection and Rival levels. What insane skills will you unlock?
- Fortune Favors the Bold: Your choices dictate the fate of your party and offer multiple paths to unique endings.
- Massive Content: 50 hours of gameplay, Dual voice implementation of both English and Japanese voice overs, power ups, skill customizations, hidden dungeons and items await!
Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky is now available as a Digital Download within Europe for the PS4 and PS Vita; however those wishing to own a retail version of the game can import the game from America.
Do these kind of digital games ever drop in price? Every advantage lies with the seller since there’s no physical.
They do occasionally drop in price as part of weekly / bi-weekly sales on the PSN Store; but it can take awhile (Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax on PS3/PSV took a year before it received it’s first discount).
Occassionally some receive permanent price reductions; for instance NIS America often reduce prices of their games after 2-3 years after release.
