MVM Entertainment have today taken to social media to reveal that their upcoming ‘Collector’s Edition’ Blu-ray release of the original Berserk TV Anime Series has been delayed until next year.

Berserk BD official release date has been pushed back to January 9th, however if all goes to plan we will have stock in before Christmas.

A specific reason for the delay has not been given, so it’s most likely due to a production issue; however MVM’s own online store, Anime-On-Line, are hoping to have stock by Christmas so – if all goes to plan – those who wish to order through their store may still receive it this year.

In any event the Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release of Berserk, which will contain all 26 episodes of the series remastered in High Definition and come with a selection of art-cards, is now scheduled for release on the 9th January 2017.
