Death Note Blu-ray ‘Potentially’ Delayed Until Mid-December

It seems that Manga UK’s upcoming Blu-ray release of Death Note has been pushed back until the 19th December 2016; that is according to an updated product listing on Amazon UK as well as a recent order update sent out by the online retailer.

According to the e-mail sent out by Amazon UK the Blu-ray release of Death Note, which contains both the entire anime series and the two recap movies within a single set, has been pushed back to a later date as informed by their supplier.

As it stands Manga Entertainment UK have not yet confirmed this delay and, more importantly, online retailers such as Zavvi, Base and Anime-On-Line are still listing the previously announced 31st October 2016 release date. At the time of writing though Amazon UK have updated their product listing to say that the set will be released on the 19th December 2016; as seen below.

It’s currently unclear which release date is accurate; but we do know that Manga Entertainment UK will be releasing Death Note on Blu-ray within the UK at some point in the near future.
