BlazBlue: Central Fiction “Azure Edition” To Be a Rice Digital Exclusive within Europe

PQube Games, have announced in partnership with the online retailer Rice Digital, that the Collector’s Edition version of Arc System Works last fighting game BlazBlue: Central Fiction – which is interestingly dubbed Azure Edition – will be exclusive to the Rice Digital store within Europe.

Available for the PS3 and PS4 from November this ‘Rice Digital Exclusive’ version mimics the contents of the American Collector’s Edition release (as seen on the Aksys Games social media channels) which sees the game bundled alongside a Soundtrack CD consisting of 10 songs, a 100-page hadback artbook and a Nendroid styled figure of Noel Vermillion; all of which will be presented in a collectors box.

The BlazBlue: Central Fiction – Azure Edition features;

  • The BlazBlue: Central Fiction game on PS4 or PS3.
  • The original 100 page artbook for BlazBlue: Central Fiction containing a special collection of artwork from the full BlazBlue archive – from Calamity Trigger, to Continuum Shift, Chronophantasma and Central Fiction itself.
  • The BlazBlue Song Interlude III Offical Soudtrack.
  • A Noel Vermillion Nendoroid Petit  – the second version of the Bolverk-wielding fighter, fully supervised by BlazBlue creator Toshimichi Mori.
  • Beautiful presentation box with artwork exclusive to this edition!

This Azure Edition of BlazBlue: Central Fiction is currently available to pre-order from the Rice Digital store for £59.99 (PS3) or £69.99 (PS4) and is expected to release during November 2016 with a confirmed date to be announced in the coming weeks.

Although PQube Games have not announced a release date for BlazBlue: Central Fiction the American distributor, Aksys Games, have announced that it will be released in America on the 1st November 2016 so we could speculate that the UK (European) release could be made available a few days later; but of course this is just speculation on my part.
