Dragon Ball Fusions Confirmed for Western Nintendo 3DS Release

Following on from the news last week that Bandai Namco Entertainment would be releasing Digimon World: Next Order within the UK and Europe the Japanese-based publisher have today announced that they will also be releasing the JPRG styled Nintendo 3DS game Dragon Ball Fusions within the UK, Europe and America in the near future.
Of course the confirmation that Dragon Ball Fusions will receive a western release comes as no surprise as earlier in the month listings for the game appeared on the Brazilian Ratings board (as I previously mentioned and tweeted out on Twitter). In any event unlike Dragon Ball Xenoverse, which will be available for the PC, PS4 and XB1 on the 28th October 2016; Dragon Ball Fusions is exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS and will see the player created avatar jump into a JPRG styled Dragon World whereby they must team-up, take on missions and defeat evil that appears.
Unlike your traditional Dragon Ball game, which closely follows the events of the Dragon Ball Z timeline, Dragon Ball Fusions will feature is own independent storyline that will involve characters from the Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT timeline (including movies). The objective may be to beat the bad guys; but with Dragon Ball Fusions its more about unlocking access to a wide-range of characters so that players can preform fusions and become a stronger opponent.
Dragon Ball Fusions has been available for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan since early this year and it’s proved quite popular – mostly due to it’s unique fusion combinations – and I’m sure it’s going to generate some comical interest with its western audiences. In any event Dragon Ball Fusions is expected to be release later this year (within America) with a UK and European release to follow in February next year.
