CITV To Broadcast The Original Pokemon Movie Trilogy on Bank Holiday Monday

Heads-up Pokemon fans! CITV have announced that they will be broadcasting all three original Pokemon movies back-to-back on Bank Holiday Monday; starting with Pokemon The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back at 10am.

As mentioned CITV will broadcast Pokemon The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back at 10am, followed by Pokemon 2000: The Power of One at 11:30am and then finally Pokemon 3: Spell of the Unown at 1:10pm.

It’s unclear as to why CITV have chosen to show all three Pokemon movies, as usually the channel limit’s themselves to one film and a selection of episodes; but if you’ve yet to see the original film trilogy then now would be the perfect chance. Although CITV will be broadcast all three films they will not be broadcast in High Definition; so that ‘special experience’ will have to be saved for the Blu-ray release later this year.

CITV is a free channel and can be viewed on Freeview (122), Sky (621) and Freesat (602). The films will later be available for streaming on the ITV on demand service known as ITV hub.
