Unboxing: A Certain Magical Index – Season 1 (Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack)

Animatsu Entertainment’s individual Blu-ray, and DVD, release of A Certain Magical Index has been around quite some time now but what might one expect to receive if they were to purchase the American ‘Combo Pack’ release? Well let’s find out in our latest unboxing video.

Truth be told there isn’t much difference between the American FUNimation release of A Certain Magical Index and its British Animatsu Entertainment release; as other than being a combo pack the disc contents, packaging and presentation are pretty much the same. The only real difference however would lie in the disc artwork as while FUNimation opted to use their ‘singular’ colour option i believe the Animatsu release uses a more traditional colour artwork.

It’s worth noting that this American Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack release of A Certain Magical Index – Season is Region Locked for both the Blu-ray and DVD Discs so if you did opt to import this variation of the series you would need a multi-regional player. Of course as the Animatsu Entertainment release features the same contnet, and even comes in its own chipboard artbox, then there is no need to import this US Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pakc shown below.
