Publisher NIS America have recently announced that Nippon Ichi’s second entry into the Disgaea franchise, known as Disgaea 2, will be released onto Steam early next year as Disgaea 2 PC.
Currently scheduled for release on the 30th January 2017 this ‘Steam’ release of the iconic JPRG game will support Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems and include Dark Eclair, Gig, and Miabel who were previously only available in the Japanese version of the game. As one might expect this Steam release of Disgaea 2 will come with the usual enhancements, such as updated visuals, controller support and steam achievements; all of which can be found on the official steam store page for the game.
Synopsis: Darkness is back. Overlord Zenon has cursed the land, and now, Veldime is transforming into a nasty Netherworld. Memories are sterilized, bodies demonized, the world is falling into chaos. The only one unaffected is a young man, Adell. He stands up to fight the curse, but things never go as planned. The haughty daughter of Zenon, a filthy little frog, lovable demon siblings and a washed-up rock star!? No one can ever predict what goes on in the world of Disgaea. And of course, other Overlords refuse to sit still watching…
In addition to the release of Disgaea 2 for the PC, NIS America have also released four additional characters for use within Disgaea PC, which is currently available on Steam. The four characters include Adell, Rozalin, Zetta, and Pleinair and each are now available to use within the game. Disgaea 2 PC meanwhile is currently scheduled for release on the 30th January 2017 within the UK, Europe and America.
